Donegall Pass Mural
This digital artwork presents symbols of World War One heroism. It depicts a poppy field, with the Ulster Tower at Thiepval as its centrepiece.
The tower is surrounded by a line of poetry 'Lay them away on the hillside, along with the brave and the bold, inscribe their names on the role of fame in letters of purest gold' - and is flanked by two contemporary military cap badges.
The artist, Patricia Lavery, worked closely with local community representatives, including the Donegall Pass Community Centre committee, residents and community workers, firstly to identify the subject for the new mural and then to bring it to fruition.
