Shankill Rd

The artwork has been originally painted on canvas and in a second phase digitalised and printed on aluminium. It is located on a fencing at the top of Mountjoy Street / Shankill Road and is over 100 foot long. It highlight key people and social aspects of the Shankill from the time of the Titanic to present.

This outstanding piece of work was created in collaboration with Shankill Area Social History Group and young people from Shankill Alternatives and unveiled as part of History Group’s AGM Monday 15th June 2012.
