C-Type Print
C-Type prints, or Chromogenic prints, are full colour photographic prints produced from colour negative or from a digital file. At Iris Colour we produce all our c-type prints from digital files using our Lightjet 430 and imaging onto Fuji Crystal Archive papers
These prints are characterised by a reaction between chemicals and colour dyes in the layers of the paper. After exposure with colour lasers, the paper is chemically processed, developing the coloured image composed in the three dye layers.
Our process is fully colour managed to recognise embedded Adobe '98 and sRGB profiles ensuring accurate printed colours every time.
